Jamie
Ruby attended Mohawk High School, where early on she
developed a love for computer art. She started by designing
free-hand drawn graphics for Graphic Arts club in seventh
grade. She soon became president of the club.
Jamie started to create designs on
her own, and soon found a love for web site design
and digital art. It all started with a site devoted
to the television show, The X-Files, and grew from
there. Jamie continued to expand this site (now including
hundreds of pictures as well as artwork) and started
creating other sites.
Jamie soon broke away from using existing
material to create fan art and started developing her
own sense of style with her own photography. Jamie
has said in the past, "Sometimes when I design
graphics I have a certain idea in mind, whereas other
times I do not. Many times I just choose random pictures
and work with it until I like what I've done."
Jamie will graduate from Youngstown
State University with a BFA in the fall of 2005.

I
have been designing graphics and webpages for over
seven years now. What started out as free-hand computer
drawings in school for Graphic Arts Club has turned
into a love of computer art and design.
Sometimes when I design graphics I
have a certain idea in mind, whereas other times I
do not. Many times I just choose random pictures and
work with them until I like what I've done.
The main program that I use for all
of my artwork is Adobe Photoshop. I also at times use
Ulead Photo Impact.
For my 3-D artwork, I use Curious Labs'
Poser, Maya, and Bryce.
This website was designed using Adobe
Photoshop, Macromedia Fireworks, and Macromedia Dreamweaver.
All photographs were taken with the
Nikon 5700 or the Canon EOS 20D digital SLR camera.
